Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday assured soldiers that they can serve the nation without concern for their families, stating that their safety, dignity and well-being remain the government’s responsibility.
Addressing personnel at the ‘Janata Darshan’ public grievance forum, the Chief Minister said the government has been committed to supporting both security personnel and citizens since the outset.
During the session, Adityanath heard individual complaints related to policing, land disputes, financial assistance and transfers from across districts. He directed administrative and police officials to ensure timely and proper resolution of all cases within a fixed timeframe.
The Chief Minister emphasised that officials must directly coordinate with personnel deployed at borders and in internal security duties to address their concerns effectively.
Special attention to soldiers’ issues
Several soldiers attending the ‘Janata Darshan’ raised land-related disputes. Adityanath instructed district authorities to handle such cases fairly and in accordance with established rules, ensuring that all parties are heard.
He also directed officials to maintain close communication with affected families and ensure their grievances are resolved without delay.
Assurance on medical and financial aid
In cases seeking financial assistance for medical treatment, the Chief Minister advised applicants to provide hospital cost estimates while applying for aid.
“You take care of the patient and leave the worry of treatment to the government. No one’s treatment will be halted due to lack of funds,” Adityanath said, reiterating the government’s commitment to supporting all sections of society.
Reinforcing governance outreach
The ‘Janata Darshan’ initiative continues to serve as a direct interface between the government and citizens, enabling authorities to address grievances in real time and reinforce administrative accountability across the state.
